The defamation notice sent by Rupali further states, “Our client claims that defamatory words and abusive language have been used against him in public by you. This has damaged his reputation, violated his dignity and also adversely affected his career, due to which he has suffered huge losses.
The notice further reads, “Our client did not expect such a malicious attack from you, as he had always treated you well during your visit to India. Our client, with the help of herself and her husband, helped you find opportunities to enter the Indian entertainment industry. You were made to do many photoshoots and auditions…”
The notice demands compensation of Rs 50 crore
Ganguly, through his lawyer, has demanded a compensation of Rs 50 crore, which will have to be paid to his step daughter. He has also asked for an immediate unconditional public apology, failing which Ganguly has threatened to take legal action.
